Overview
The Mensa subsoilers are heavy-duty machines designed specifically for deep tillage — loosening and aerating soil up to 65 cm deep while keeping the top layer intact. This makes them perfect for restoring proper water and air movement in compacted soils by breaking through the plough pan layer, especially effective when done on dry soil right after harvest.
They’re also great for preparing soil for fruit trees, shrubs, and deep-rooting crops, helping ensure optimal conditions below the surface.
Each model is built around a strong steel frame and comes equipped with a spike roller that ensures level finishing and consistent working depth. The tines are spaced at 45 cm and protected by shear bolts, with replaceable coulters and a “mole” attachment at the base to perform additional sub-surface loosening.
